What happens during the first session?
For physiotherapy, an initial assessment will be conducted. This will include questions about your current and previous medical history, your presenting condition/injury and how/when this happened. An objective assessment will then take place and may include range of motion, postural, strength, functional or neurological assessments. Relevant treatments and exercises will then be prescribed. You will receive ongoing support and programming.
What do I need to wear?
For lower-limb injuries, please wear shorts. For upper-limb injuries, please ensure I can see the injured area/area to be treated. For more private areas, we will leave the room and allow you to undress comfortably and provide towels to cover yourself.
How much will it cost?
Please see our Prices page. Block booking discounts are available for PT.
How long will it take?
In general, most initial sessions or PT sessions are 45-55 minutes, although we do offer packages for 30-minute sessions. If you have a specific requirement or time-scale please let us know and we will accommodate you.
How many sessions will I need and how often?
This is completely individual and we can discuss this further through an online or telephone consultation, or after your first session. We aim to get you better as soon as possible! Resolving problems quickly always leads to greater trust, happier clients and better reviews.
What if you can’t help me?
We have a track record of honesty and integrity. If you need an onwards referral or we think a second opinion would be wise for certain medical conditions, this will always be made clear.

Is support offered outside of session times?
This is something we really pride ourselves on and don’t believe you will receive at the majority of other clinics. We are always available to talk after sessions and programming is conducted OUTSIDE of your session times and in our own time to ensure you receive the best possible service. We can answer any question, any time, via e-mail or phone.
Do you do online coaching/training?
Yes! Please contact us for a quote. It also means you’ll never miss a session should you/I be away from home!
